Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza, an outstanding actress who is a legend on television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father as well as an Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 1977. Soon after she made the move to Texas and pursued her medical therapy training at University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas into Orlando, Florida and was involved in a wide range of actor roles. These included independent local film productions as well as international commercials. It was there that she discovered her passion for acting despite the small roles. In 2001, she moved into New York where her first character was on All My Children's morning soap as Rosa Santos. The actress had a few roles on JAG and Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men in the mid 2000s. In 2004, she got a role in her first series part in The Mountain which was which was a television show that lasted only a few episodes. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Mitch Pileggi. The role she played was A.D.A. in Law & Order, where her most memorable performance was during the year 2006. Connie Rubirosa. She was on the show for 85 episodes. Her character then flocked to the short-lived sequel Law & Order: LA. This particular character earned De La Garza several nominations such as Best Supporting Actress - Television by the Imagen Foundation Awards and even numerous ALMA Award noms. The National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her the Impact Award, which is awarded for exceptional performances on drama-based television shows. Then, a short time later De La Garza was cast in CSI Miami in a recurring role. She played Marisol Deko, the wife of David Caruso's portrayer Horatio Caine. Her most current TV work was on NBC's somewhat more dark drama Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. It was put on hold after two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is Italian and is the youngest of two sisters Cory. Her family was the strict, religious home of her family. Milano started her acting career when she was just seven years old. The babysitter took her on stage for auditions. The audition she took part in was one of over 1000 applicants. Her audition was taken among only four girls. Milano was featured in TV commercials and shows off Broadway, such as the first American musical performance of Jane Eyre.
